Antivirus Software Reviews
By Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Antivirus (or anti-virus) software is used to prevent, detect, and remove malware, including computer viruses, worms, and trojan horses. Such programs may also prevent and remove adware, spyware, and other forms of malware.
A variety of strategies are typically employed. Signature-based detection involves searching for known malicious patterns in executable code. However, it is possible for a user to be infected with new malware in which no signature exists yet. To counter such so called zero-day threats, heuristics can be used. One type of heuristic approach, generic signatures, can identify new viruses or variants of existing viruses for looking for known malicious code (or slight variations of such code) in files. Some antivirus software can also predict what a file will do if opened/run by emulating it in a sandbox and analyzing what it does to see if it performs any malicious actions. If it does, this could mean the file is malicious.
However, no matter how useful antivirus software is, it can sometimes have drawbacks. Antivirus software can degrade computer performance if it is not designed efficiently. Inexperienced users may have trouble understanding the prompts and decisions that antivirus software presents them with. An incorrect decision may lead to a security breach. If the antivirus software employs heuristic detection (of any kind), the success of it is going to depend on whether it achieves the right balance between false positives and false negatives. False positives can be as destructive as false negatives. In one case, a faulty virus signature issued by Symantec mistakenly removed essential operating system files, leaving thousands of PCs unable to boot.[1] Finally, antivirus software generally runs at the highly trusted kernel level of the operating system, creating a potential avenue of attack.[2]
In addition to the drawbacks mentioned above, the effectiveness of antivirus software has also been researched and debated. One study found that the detection success of major antivirus software dropped over a one-year period.[3]

If you use any online search engine to find the best antivirus software removal you will be bombarded with thousands of listings promising that by using 'x' software you can safely and effectively remove viruses, spyware, and any other damaging software from your computer.
Many of these sites are legit software options, but, be careful when downloading anything onto your computer. The worst thing to happen is to download antivirus solutions only to find out that the downloaded file in fact is yet another virus.
I have run into this problem in the past. I had a horrible virus on my computer and my current antivirus protection was not detecting it. Because it did not detect the virus, it could not remove it. So, I did an internet search and found what I thought was the answer to my antivirus prayers. After downloading the software I immediately learned that I had made a horrible mistake. What I thought was antivirus removal software to fix my problems was in fact another virus. So, there I was with 2 horrible viruses wreaking havoc on my computer.
To avoid this problem you should always research what you are downloading. Had I done a complete search and reviewed several different antivirus removal software I would have found that the software I was downloading was dangerous. I could have saved myself a lot of time and heartache.
Before downloading any antivirus software removal programs you should investigate the site and read any and all reviews you can find on the software before putting it on your computer.

Computer Virus Protection Reviews - The Best in Computer Virus Protection
Antivirus Software Reviews
By Jim Marshall
With many options available it can be rather difficult to select computer virus protection. Without being an expert in computer security how can we decide which antivirus software is better than another? It is actually a lot easier than you think. These are the most important features to look for that separate the best from the rest.
• Full registry scanning. Unfortunately a lot of antivirus programs are unable to perform deep scans of your registry files. This may have been acceptable years ago when viruses were not quite as devious. But the latest and deadliest threats such as XP Antivirus, Vundo, and Antispyware Master all install dangerous files in your registry. You can delete almost all the malicious strains of a deadly virus but if you neglect the registry it will simply regenerate itself.
• Real time protection. Detection and removal is simply not enough. You need real time computer virus protection. Often time viruses can sneak on your computer or disguise themselves as benign files. Good real time protection should severely limit the amount of viruses infecting your computer.
• Constant software updates. Antivirus protection software is only as good as it's last update. New deadly viruses are created every day and unless your antivirus program is staying on top of them then your computer is still at risk!
Deadly viruses can potentially corrupt your computer and cause a complete hard drive collapse. They also use keyloggers and spyware to steal private information like credit card numbers and passwords. You cannot afford to let this deadly malware run amuck.

Antivirus Software For Vista
Antivirus Software Reviews
By Stephen Mulberry
Windows Vista promises to have enhanced security against internet related threats. One of the most talked about addition is UAC (User Access Control), which attempts to automatically sense potentially dangerous situations and temporarily suspends running programs and processes. UAC works by detecting and halting any malware that may be trying to install itself on the machine or run itself with administrative privileges. UAC will prompt/warn you when something attempts to install itself. Unfortunately this is not an end-all solution. Some viruses or malware have the ability to automatically click 'OK' or 'Yes' on these warnings allowing the virus to proceed with it's self installation. Also, it may be difficult to determine whether or not the warning is coming from a legitimate source. And, finally, some people have been 'conditioned' to click 'Yes' or 'OK' to simply get rid of the annoying, invasive, warning window and get back to what they are doing. Some other built-in security features include Windows Defender and Windows Firewall. However, depend upon these features without third-party antivirus software at your own risk. Although these built-in features help to some degree, they are not foolproof, and in addition to the the reasons above, there are many reasons to use separate third-party antivirus software. Here are a few reasons why:
1. Email attachments - there are millions of virus infected emails currently in circulation and to the uneducated user, these emails appear completely legitimate and persuasive in getting you to open the attachment. A well written virus by a competent programmer will exploit the weaknesses an any operating system. If you are one of the unfortunate victims, prepare for some serious headaches.
2. P2P downloads - Peer to peer, and other file sharing programs, are some of the most common ways for computer viruses to spread. Viruses hidden in seemingly legitimate installation packages will make there way into your computer faster than you can say - "Woops".
3. Browser related exploits - Vista's new version of Internet Exploerer (IE 7) claims to have enhanced security features such as pre-enabled Active-X protection, and a Protected Mode. However, many users will undoubtedly disable these features in order to be able to run flash programs, or other embedded applications which require Active-X. And as for executing unknown ActiveX components - it's been permitted before, and it will continue to be permitted.
Although Windows Vista is the most secure Windows operating system to date, there are still many ways for viruses to make their way through Vista's defenses. We strongly recommend, especially if you use the internet frequently, that you install a reliable antivirus program. Antivirus software is designed specifically to solve all of the problems I've discussed and more. A good antivirus software will also regularly self update, protecting against the latest virus and malware threats. Let Vista focus on being an operating system and let your antivirus software focus on blocking and removing viruses. Surely you've heard the maxim 'You're better safe than sorry'. Well, it certainly applies here as well.

Free Virus Protection Software - How To Protect Your Computer From Viruses
Antivirus Software Reviews
By Jimmy Henderson
If you want to find the best free virus protection software, you have definitely come to the right place. Very simply, there are many websites that offer this today, but you want to make sure you find software that is effective at eliminating the viruses. Get this wrong, and your computer is doomed.
First of all, here is a quick explanation of exactly what a virus is and why it's so important to ensure you keep them off your operating system and then some antivirus reviews to help you find the best. While there isn't room to go into the 10 best antivirus programs, as many people want, there is a recommendation for which software is the best.
Very simply, a computer virus is essentially something that uses real programs and feed off of them. They generally begin working right away and are built specifically to destroy computer files, programs, etc. Generally speaking, you are most at risk for receiving viruses whenever downloading a piece of software of the internet, so you obviously need to be very careful about where you download from.
Of course, even if you are as careful as you can possibly be, you still are at risk of having your computer infected. Even opening up certain emails can give your computer a virus.
While you certainly need to be careful and diligent about which sites you visit and which emails you open, no amount of caution should substitute for getting good free virus protection software. Very simply, your computer depends on it.
So where should you get your anti virus software from? Why not go to the leading internet search company around-Google?
Very recently, they introduced something called the Google Pack, which contains more than ten different and free software applications, including anti virus software. This software obviously isn't designed by Google, but they get them from a top notch anti virus company.
Included in this is the Norton AntiVirus software, which is one of the top anti virus software applications anywhere. When you get the Google Pack, you get this for free. Whenever it's been tested by experts, it always performs admirably at protecting operating systems.
Obviously, there are many great anti virus software applications you can get for free, but you can be assured that the Norton is among the best, and having it backed by Google gives it a further stamp of approval. Therefore, I'd recommend trusting your computer to this application, as it's simply one of the best free virus protection software packages around.

Computer Antivirus Software - 6 Tips to Help Select the Right Solution
Antivirus Software Reviews
By Gary Scott
There are so many computer antivirus software products available today that sometimes it is hard to know where to start. The goal with this article is to provide you with a framework to judge whether a computer antivirus software will be good for you.
(1) Effective detection of viruses– obvious point but you need to fell confident that your software will catch a vast majority of the virus threats including worms and Trojans. Visit online websites like PC World or CNet for trusted reviews.
(2) Value for money – a lot of the software vendors offer internet security suites which offer the anti virus software with other security tools including firewall software and spam filters. Typically these all-in-one packages offer better value for money than buying a standalone anti virus software. At a minimum it is important to consider buying a package which includes a decent firewall which monitors both incoming and outgoing internet traffic in your computer. The standard Windows XP firewall only monitors incoming traffic.
(3) Virus Definition update – the best computer antivirus software offers automatic updates which ensure the best protection for your computer. New virus threats emerge almost daily so it is critical your antivirus software's virus definition database is refreshed frequently.
(4) User Interface – needs to be easy to use so that you can configure the required setting without requiring any technical knowledge. It also needs to convey information in plain English for the home user with easy-to-follow instructions.
(5) Integrates with Windows XP Security Centre – this allows you to make the most of a useful feature of your operating system. The Security Centre monitors the security software on your computer to make sure it is working properly. The last thing you want is continuous error messages from Windows.
(6) Technical Support – this is really important. The best packages offer free technical support. You will be surprised how many vendors actually charge for this – sometimes the charges per incident can be very high.
Please see below for my computer antivirus software recommendation.
Gary Scott runs a number of computer related sites. He recommends the The Shield Pro which provides affordable virus protection with free technical support and firewall software included.

How Free Antivirus Software Can Work For You
Antivirus Software Reviews
By Scott Jarvis
When I first made the transition from private internet user to business internet user there where many things I, at first had never taken into consideration. First and foremost however was Computer Security. My business is based and run out my home and while I use my four computers for business they are also used as personal computers as well by both myself and my family.
I keep all of my clients business and personal information on file as well as credit card numbers, home address and the like. Being somewhat naïve to the world of cyber crime prior to the start of my online business I lacked the knowledge and know how's when it came to things like zero day attacks, viruses, and to the same extent the effects of spyware and malware. It wasn't until I encountered a serious problem that I was forced into the world of PC Security Software.
I like most people prior to my incident had made use of products like Norton and MacAfee to keep my computers free from viruses and other nasties. Knowing what I know now, those applications do their jobs but can be difficult to understand for the layman. As I found as time passed I had no idea what I was doing with those applications and would simply run scans and remove the threats they would find. I knew nothing of the Security Management tools that where included and when I finally did find out about them I couldn't figure out how to utilize them.
So what incident finally forced me to educate myself and begin protecting my clients and my business? Well as I stated previously my computers are also used by my family for leisure. During those early months of the business my youngest child who was 11 at the time was browsing through sites that were designed to implant viruses and allow spyware to run rampant through my home network. For a time I didn't even know that there were any problems. That is until I got a call from a client who explained that he was getting both mail and email from unwanted solicitors whom he believed I had sold his information too. I ended up spending a weeks worth of time on the phone with this person and eventually we got things sorted out. I immediately began speaking to others who operated businesses out of their homes and found surprisingly that I had been a victim of data theft. After a great deal of consulting with others I began my hunt for a reliable PC Security application.
My initial results through the early stages of my search warranted results I found both disheartening and disappointing. I first looked at and sampled several Free Antivirus Software programs none of which was the "complete" package. I was advised to find an application that would not only locate 100% of the threats throughout my network but one that would also keep those threats out. I was also looking for a program that would allow me to do it all in one fell swoop and one that was fairly easy to use and understand too. Unfortunately for me my early searches generated poor results. What I found surprising too was that most of the early programs I had sampled where popular programs that many other business where making use of.
It wasn't until roughly three weeks into my search that I found a company called eEye, whom specializes in things like PC Protection and Security Management software. After reading through their product descriptions I immediately began reading reviews of their products and asking those I did business with what their opinion of eEye was. I was happy to hear that there was an overwhelming majority in favor of their Endpoint Security programs. Luckily for me they offer a free download of their "Blink Personal Edition" antivirus application. There's nothing more pleasant than expecting something average and ending up with something that's a superior product. Not only did I not have to pay to take this program for a test drive but the program had everything I was on the hunt for. As I'm not the most tech savvy individual using such programs usually present a number of challenges for me but not eEye's programs. I was able to install it and begin using it with ease. Right off the bat it found all of the infections my youngest child had brought into the computer and immediately after the scan completed and threats where removed, I set up, with ease the intrusion prevention tools that have since kept 99% of all threats off of my computers and out of my business.
Things have been running smoothly for over six months now and I no longer worry about things like data file theft and the like because the back door programs that allow individuals to engage in such unscrupulous activities can no longer find their way into my machines.

Free Virus Removal Tools, Tips, and Tricks
Antivirus Software Reviews
By Mary Landesman
Getting a virus on your system is frustrating to say the least, and can be hazardous to the health of your computer. Indeed, today's malicious software can even steal your identity and wreck your hard-earned credit rating. To help fight back, here's a list of free tools, tips, and tricks to get rid of viruses and keep them from getting back on your system.
Free Virus Removal Tools
Sure the antivirus vendors want to make money, but if you ever get the chance to meet one of their virus researchers, you'll find their real motivation is to protect users. As corny as that may sound, it's true. That's why when stubborn or fast-spreading infectors are discovered, antivirus vendors release special tools to remove the malware - and give the tools away free. It's no substitute for installed antivirus software, but if you're already infected and in a pinch, it's the next best thing to, well, installed antivirus software.
Create a Free F-Prot Rescue CD - FRISK Software - one of the oldest and most respected antivirus companies (and the secret sauce hidden in a lot of antivirus products being sold under other names)- offers their F-Prot for DOS scanner free for personal use. It's ideal for making a rescue CD so you can scan the system from a clean boot.
McAfee AVERT Stinger - McAfee AVERT Labs offers a handy utility to run in Windows that cleans some of the more common malware.
Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool - Microsoft offers a free tool to remove prevalent software active on the system. The tool is offered via Automatic Updates, Windows Updates, and Microsoft Updates, or it can be manually downloaded using the provided link.
Symantec Virus Removal Tools - Antivirus vendor Symantec offers a wide range of free cleaning tools for individual malware removal.
F-Secure Virus Removal Tools - Another good choice for individual malware removal are these free tools from F-Secure.
For a second opinion scan or a not-so-stubborn infector, try one of the Top Online Scanners
Free Virus Repair and Prevention Tips
How to Repair a Boot Sector Virus - Though boot sector viruses are rare in the U.S. and most European countries, they are still prevalent in other parts of the world.
How to Make an Antivirus Rescue CD - In case you missed it above, steps for creating an F-Prot CD.
Eight Ways to Stop Virus Infection - Prevention. Prevention. Prevention. These are the essential steps.
How to Make Sure Your Antivirus is Working - Viruses, worms, and trojans often disable your antivirus software when they infect your system. This prevents the antivirus software from being updated and detecting the presence of the malware. Here's how to check to ensure it's working.
How to Avoid Macro Viruses - From the SANS Institute, tips on avoiding macro viruses.
How To Prevent Email Worms - Security configuration changes you need to make to your favorite email client software.
IM Safety Tips - In some crowds, instant messaging (IM) is more popular than email. But IM carries its own set of risks. These tips will help reduce the risk.
Free Antivirus Software There's no such thing as a free ride, or is there? If you're an experienced user and don't mind putting in a little elbow grease, you can build your own security suite:
Free Virus Scanners
ZoneAlarm Personal Firewall

Review: Free Antivirus Software 2
Antivirus Software Reviews
By Mary Landesman
As noted, each of the three free antivirus scanners - AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic, AVAST 4 Home Edition, and AVG Free Edition - have proven ability to detect in-the-wild viruses. This is a core, basic functionality of any reputable antivirus scanner and thus serves only as the basis for inclusion in the review, i.e. no points were awarded for meeting this minimum qualification. (Before considering any antivirus solution, you should check their ItW certification by consulting any of the following: VB100%, ICSALabs, or Checkmark).
Zoo Detection
AVAST 4 Home Edition had the highest rate of zoo virus detection (92%), followed by AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic at 85% and AVG Free Edition at 81%. However, AVAST's higher zoo detection was offset by a correspondingly higher rate of false positives, 9 total compared to AntiVir at only 2. Conversely, AVG scored the lowest in both categories, racking up 11 false positives.
Response Times
How nimble your antivirus vendor is can make the difference between an infection and a non-event. To gauge this, we looked at the response times recorded for 26 major outbreaks during a particularly prolific virus period. Vendors who were among the first five to release antivirus updates for one of these 26 threats received points accordingly. AntiVir was one of the top 5 vendors a total of 5 times, AVAST appeared twice, and AVG only once.
Compressed/Archive Types
Many virus creators thwart signature-based scanners simply by repackaging a known virus using a different compression or archive type. This not only changes the signature, not all scanners can decompress the resulting files in order to scan them properly. According to tests performed in 2005, AntiVir is capable of scanning 30 different compressed and archive types, compared to AVAST at 28 and AVG at only 17.
Adware and Spyware
When it came to adware and spyware, none of the free scanners peformed well. The best of the worst was AVAST, which removed 33% of the active components of the adware and spyware installed to our test system. AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic removed 5% and AVG removed none. (Paid versions of these same products proved more capable thus a low score for the free products has no bearing on their paid counterparts).
Footprint
Each of the free antivirus scanners was conservative in the amount of disk space used, installing 40Mb or less on our test systems. (The smallest was AVG at only 30Mb). AVG installed four running processes, compared to three for AntiVir and six by AVAST. The footprint on the system can be particularly important for those running older operating systems (i.e. Windows 98/ME) where hard drive space and memory might be at a premium. Fortunately, any one of the three meets those needs.
Support Options
If you run into difficulty using the product or trying to remove a stubborn infector, you'll have to resort to an online knowledgebase or self-help forum. AVAST does offer phone support, but there's a per minute charge attached which could likely turn the free solution into an expensive alternative rather quickly.
The Final Scores
If we left spyware/adware removal out of the mix and focused only on the scanner's ability to detect traditional virus threats, out of a possible 125.6 points, AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic scored 94, AVAST 4 Home Edition scored 89, and AVG Free Edition scored 66. However, when we included adware/spyware removal in the judging, the results were dismal, with AVAST scoring highest at 66 points, AntiVir following at 58, and AVG with only 30.
Of course, these particular antivirus scanners don't claim to have adware and spyware removal capabilities, so it would be unfair to judge them harshly if they do not. Still, if you are looking for a standalone antivirus scanner that can also offer spyware or adware protection, you'll have to shell out a few dollars to get it.

Review: Free Antivirus Software
Antivirus Software Reviews

Free antivirus software may be the only option for those on a limited budget. The question, of course, is how well free antivirus software protects your PC, how easy is it to use, and if something goes wrong will you be left out in the cold? The answers may surprise you. This review looks at three free antivirus solutions: AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic, AVAST 4 Home Edition, and AVG Free Edition.
Each of the products tested has been certified (VB100%, ICSALabs, or Checkmark) to be effective at detecting 100% of in-the-wild viruses. But the list of in-the-wild (ItW) viruses is miniscule in comparison to the number of actual known viruses. The ItW list also omits certain types of threats, including adware and spyware, thus it may not be representative of the actual threats confronting users today.
For this reason, we turned to AV-Test.org, a project of the University of Magdeburg and AV-Test GmbH, Andreas Marx. Each year, Andreas subjects antivirus scanners to a wide range of tests, extending the basic wildlist testing to include a collection of 159322 zoo virus tests, as well as the ability to detect viruses in 37 compressed and archive formats, and any false positives (detection of viruses in non-infected, legitimate files) resulting from these tests. We also performed our own in-house tests to determine whether any of the free products were capable of providing a high level of protection against adware and spyware.
The Scorecard
To ensure objectivity, we rated each of the free antivirus scanners based on system impact (install size and number of active running processes), detection of zoo viruses, detection of spyware/adware, compressed/archive types handled, number of false positives, product support options, and response times (how quickly the vendor releases updates after a new virus is discovered in-the-wild).
Scan speeds were not included in scoring, as these can vary widely depending on system configuration and whether any infections are present and, in any event, have no bearing on detection or capability of the product. Likewise, though we comment on ease-of-use and costmetics of the interface, these are subjective opinions that will vary from user to user and thus were not used to score the products.

Ever wondered if free anti virus software that are commonly found on the internet are as good as they say? Here's the review...
Many people have always wondered if free anti virus suites are better than the commercial counterparts.
Well, according to my past experiences, many free anti virus suites are not as good as their commercial counterparts....
This may be depressing news to many internet users who do not want to spend too much..
However, many people do not know that some commercial av(anti virus) software are not as good as commercial ones (around 5 %)
But I will only talk about free av here.
So Here's a list of the top 3 free av software that i tested and tried
1) AVG:
Provides real-time protection and is user friendly, good for the average home user
Has a commercial version which caters more for business needs. However, it does not detect as much viruses and malware as the other 2 av software.
2) avast! home edition:
Good virus database and detection. Not as user friendly.
Confusing Icons and user interface. Detects decent amount of malware and viruses. Provides good realtime protection. The only thing that I do not like about this is the user interface. It tries to look visual appealing to users but suffered in the user friendliness.
3) Avira anti-virus:
Best database of viruses, detects nearly as much viruses and other malware as commercial av. Decent user interface.
Realtime scanner not as good as AVG. Another thing about the free version is that it pops out a random advertisement of its product. But nonetheless, it is still quite a good free av
All has their Pros and Cons.
Note: Do not install more than 1 av software in a computer as the av may conflict with each other and cause your system to run more slowly then usual. Therefore, my advice is to stick to 1 av software and not install any more.
Personally, I think Avira is my preferred av as it really detects quite a lot more malware and viruses than the other 2 (about 5% more). The problem about the advertisement popping out is nto hindering my preference as it rarely pops out.
Nevertheless, the choice is yours.

The best way to prevent viruses is to purchase anti-virus software. Most anti-virus software today scans to look for spyware, and adware. So there is no need to purchase three separate tools. But having an anti-virus application is not enough, you need to ensure that it is kept up to date with the latest definition files. It is useless to have an anti-virus program that has not been updated in months. Most programs do automatic checks, and update in the background.
Spyware is software that does not intentionally harm your computer.
Spyware is designed to track and record the types of websites you visit, and what you do on those sites. The goal of this type of software is to monitor your web activities and learn your likes and dislikes so that advertisers can send you unwanted e-mails, and pop-ups, slowing down your computer and annoying you at the same time.
Adware does not harm your computer, and is a more legitimate form of freeware or free software.
Some companies that provide free software may disable certain features, while others will give you a fully functioning version of the software but display advertising during its use, or the advertising may be more profound with pop-ups being shown when the program is running. They will also slow down your computer by installing start-ups (programs that run in the background automatically every time you start your computer). How many are you running right now?
Viruses are destructive forms of software.
They were purely designed and created for one purpose alone: to wreak havoc to your computer. They destroy whatever they come in contact to and will initiate self replication and infect as many components of the computer's operating system or network as possible. They can erase entire hard drives making it virtually impossible to ever recover the data -- even if the drive were sent to data recovery experts!
Viruses are the first and last word in computer infiltration.
Simple ones simply tie up your computer, whereas complex ones can do virtually anything to an unprotected computer. No one should browse the web without good antivirus software!
We've tested dozens - even hundreds! - of virus removal programs. Some of them are great, most of them get the job done (more or less), and too many simply don't work. We've gathered the top contenders in the field, and reviewed them here for your convenience!

Know malware and security software plikasi RSS supports social network?
- Today virus attack, spyware, worm, Trojan, rootkit, and hacker becoming a part of cyber threat which need faced internet user. Malicious software or malware this usually spread through internet. Hacker for example can steal worth data through false web site. While e-mail that does not invitees may ask you reveal personal data. This obviously shows PC be barer internet to threat if no protected.
- Digital device now also contribute to infection malware. This cover media player (such as MP3/MP4) and digital camera is equipped storage. In fact, USB storage flash (Thumbdrive)
- Security software vendor usually distinguish between antivirus software (AV) and internet security (IS), including his price. AV usually provide IS 's temporary basic protection be added functionality (such as firewall, parent and filter control web). If you PC just is equipped AV, no problem if you want install other safety software (as long as suitable and not cause conflict). This add-on software could be commercial or free version.
- When expanded cyber threat, his defender software also increasingly developed. IS for example increasingly sophisticated with integrated protection to detect various new and complicated threat. Majoritinya is equipped application firewall personal to protect PC of dicerobohi hacker through internet. Ada also those is equipped antispam application can filter until 99% e-mail not been invited. Certain also is equipped filter application web and parental control.
- Ownership a PC could hold out during 5 years simply need once investment. Whereas AV ownership / IS may be terminated or continued. If his use during a year worth RM100, thus to 5 years need RM500. This amount sometimes burden some users to protect PC. Immediately they choose free version could be relied. Free version can be also chosen, if PC no internet access or data in its less valuable.
- Most consumers (new and skilled) mengemari automatic features because easier, less involving consumer, and not technical in nature (must knowledge). For example almost AV / IS fitted, you wanted process of updating going automatically. Bagaimanpun, you also should know process manualnya. Shadow if up-to-date automatic failed to function because blocked internet access or PC no internet line. So, process up-to-date manually have to be made.
- Besides offering sophisticated summary, AV software 's maker / IS believes that so important security information to be sure safe computerise activity. AV software 's maker / IS famous normally provide web site informative on latest and current threat. This cover basic information until following analysis, for example virus evidence comprehensively. In fact, some prepare channel to send sample malware to be analyzed.
- Some AV\IS brand more projecting compared his competitor. However consumer choice no necessarily is based popularity. Could be based on information of seller, partner suggestion, or own experience. So, their choice is probably accurate. If on the other hand, they can choose better brand / package. Be provided more 10 brands on market, choose superlative or able to own. You also can change of free version to paid-up or otherwise.
- You must always wary although you PC protected AV software / IS. This is important because AV software / IS may fail to parry new virus attack. So, you must take proactive measure such as have saving (backup) important data from time to time or when necessary. Data storage may be made through Windows 's inside utility or free utility is in internet. The reserve data must be could be returned again apart from were in a safe place.

8 Tips Menjadikan Firefox Secepat Kilat
8 Tips Menjadikan Firefox Secepat Kilat
Taip “about:config“, tekan [ENTER] dan klik kanan, pilih “New > Boolean“. Taip “content.interrupt.parsing“, klik “ok“, atur nilainya menjadi “False” dan klik “ok“.
5. Block Flash
Taip “about:config” dan tekan [ENTER], kemudian klik kanan dan pilih “New > Integer“.
Taip “about:config“, tekan [ENTER] dan klik kanan, pilih “New > Boolean“. Taip “content.interrupt.parsing“, klik “ok“, atur nilainya menjadi “False” dan klik “ok“.
5. Block Flash
Taip “about:config” dan tekan [ENTER], kemudian klik kanan dan pilih “New > Integer“.

Buat beberapa ujian ringkas:1. Paparan berikut akan muncul (Your Task manager has been disable by administrator). Sahih komputer/laptop anda telah terkena virus tu.
2. Buka My Computer > Tool > Pastikan ada Folder Options.
3. Klik start > run > taipkan msconfig dan tekan enter. Kalau msconfig tidak muncul, virus sudah menyekatnya.
%System%\RVHOST.exe
Worm akan mencipta folder baru dengan extension (new folder.exe):
%System%\new folder.exe
Cara-cara membuang worm.trojan RVHOST.EXE
- Open Notepad.
- Copy and paste the following:
O
- Save this file as C: \RESTORE.VBS. (type ALL FILES)
- Click Start> Run, type C: \RESTORE.VBS, then press Enter.
- Click Yes at the prompt of the message box.
1) antivirus (sebarang yg latest, saya cadangkan Kaspersky, panda, Sophos, AVG)
2) antispybots (Spybots : Search and Destroy)
3) antispyware (Spywareblaster)
